The Art Foundation presents Altered States, an art party fundraiser in support of Ruined State(s) No. 2, a project by UTD CentralTrak artist-in-residence, Robert Andrade. The fundraiser will help the California-based artist create a conceptual multi-site, privately-funded public work in Dallas, TX.
The Art Foundation hosts this night of music and art near Andrade’s proposed Ruined State(s) No. 2 project sites in West Dallas. The party will feature DJ sets by The Contempt Collective, comprised of D Magazine music critic, Christopher Mosley; artist and semigloss. Magazine editor, Sally Glass; artist and writer Cassandra Emswiler; and artist and musician Kathryn Falvo. Robert Andrade will also create art prints related to Ruined State(s) No. 2, with the support of Tarrant County College, which will be available for purchase during the party.
